Caroline's Campaign - Essex
Karen and the Nouveau dream team’s latest Caroline’s Campaign makeover event took place in Lakeside, Essex. Set up by our good friend Caroline Monk, the charity gives femininity and confidence back to women who have lost their hair during chemotherapy. Our lovely models - Michelle, Sheila, Barbara and Jill, were nominated by their families and friends.

Sinitta thinks we’ve got the X Factor!
Singer and TV star Sinitta has become our very first celebrity trainee. Best known for her pop career and TV appearances in X Factor, Sinitta is also a former ballet dancer.
Years of dancing had worn the dark skin off her toes, so she always kept her feet covered – until she met Karen Betts! A week after having her toes repigmented by Karen, Sinitta confidently walked the tightrope barefoot on Cirque du Celebrité! Sinitta was so impressed that she came back and did her Nouveau Contour Technician training, got her own permanent cosmetics machine and is now able to re-pigment her own toes whenever they need a top-up.

Nouveau Contour makes a show-stopping decision!
For those of you used to seeing our Nouveau Contour stand at industry shows, it might come as a bit of a surprise to hear that we’ve decided not to exhibit anywhere else for the foreseeable future. We’ve made the radical decision to put all our resources into making our training and services as affordable and exciting as possible, giving our technicians the tools they need to grow their own businesses.
